ALDO KATTÓN

Aldo Kattón is a choreographer, artistic director, and dance educator with extensive experience in professional performance, artistic leadership, and curriculum development. Originally from Mérida, Mexico, he specializes in classical ballet, repertoire, and partnering, and is deeply committed to fostering rigorous, inclusive, and artistically vibrant learning environments.

His work as an educator and director centers on designing innovative curricula and mentoring dancers toward professional success at both the pre-professional and university levels. As a choreographer, his work is guided by principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, honoring classical tradition while expanding its expressive and cultural possibilities.

Mr. Kattón’s expertise extends to production management, artistic logistics, and collaborative leadership across both small- and large-scale theatrical productions. He has a proven ability to elevate artistic standards, oversee complex operations, and contribute to institutional growth. He holds two Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Classical Ballet and Performing Arts, is a member of the International Dance Council (CID), and currently serves as Professor of Dance at Syracuse University.
